Ortega National Parks strives to ensure the safety of it’s employees, visitors, and partners within all of our facilities. In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have taken additional measures to prevent the spread of the virus based on the recommendations of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (C.D.C.), The National Park Service, and state and local public health authorities and agencies. These measures now include closing The Lodge at Mammoth Cave effective 3/20/20. We continue to monitor the situation and enact additional precautionary measures as recommended.
We ask that all of our visitors follow the recommendations of the C.D.C. which can be found at the following link https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html.
